Compliant crews. No exceptions.
Groundwork Labour Hire takes WHS seriously. Every worker we place is White Card verified, insured under our workers compensation policy, and inducted to your site before they pick up a tool.
The compliance you'd expect — and the paperwork to back it.
White Card verified
Every worker on our books holds a current NSW Construction Induction (White Card). We sight, record and expiry-track every card before a worker is ever placed on site. No card, no placement.
SWMS & Safe Work Method Statements
We work with your site SWMS and ensure our workers are briefed on the specific hazards and controls for the task. For high-risk construction work we confirm SWMS are signed off before our crew steps on site.
Site inductions
All Groundwork workers complete client site inductions before commencing work. We coordinate timing so your crew arrives ready — inducted, in PPE, and briefed on access, amenities and emergency procedures.
Workers compensation
Groundwork carries current Workers Compensation insurance covering every worker we place. As the labour hire provider we are the employer for workers comp purposes — your site is not exposed.
Public liability insurance
We hold $20M Public Liability insurance covering our operations across Sydney construction sites. Certificates of Currency available on request — most builders ask for these as part of supplier onboarding.
Ticket & licence verification
EWP, Forklift, Dogman, Rigger, Traffic Control, First Aid — every ticket is sighted, recorded and expiry-tracked. We will not send a worker for licensed work without a current, valid ticket.
Documents we can supply on request
- ✦Certificate of Currency — Workers Compensation covering all Groundwork-placed workers.
- ✦Certificate of Currency — Public Liability ($20M cover).
- ✦White Card register — confirmation of each worker's current Construction Induction.
- ✦Ticket & licence register — EWP, Forklift, Dogman, Rigger, Traffic Control, First Aid expiry dates.
- ✦NSW Labour Hire Licence — Groundwork operates as a compliant labour hire provider under NSW regulation.
How we keep it current
White Cards and tickets are verified at onboarding and re-checked against expiry dates in our system. If a worker's ticket is due to expire we flag it before placement. SWMS are reviewed for every high-risk activity. Incidents — however minor — are recorded, reviewed and reported back to the site manager same day.
Why this matters for your site
Under NSW WHS law, the principal contractor and the labour hire provider share a duty of care to every worker on site. When you engage Groundwork you're engaging a labour hire partner that takes that duty seriously — so your safety paperwork, insurance position and audit trail all stay clean.
